Frenectomy
Your mouth contains tiny connective tissues called frenula. These tissues connect the soft areas of your mouth. For example there’s one right under your nose that connects your upper lip to your upper gums. Sometimes a child is born with frenula that are too tight, which can cause discomfort. We can surgically remove or alter the frenulum to relieve the tension and reduce or eliminate the discomfort.
Scaling and Root Planing
Deep cleaning techniques remove tartar, plaque and other irritants from beneath your gums. These irritants can cause inflammation and infections under your gums, which can lead to gum disease.
